Early March can certainly see some snow, but Storm Stella blew in with uncommon vigor this year. We were driving into DC the day it hit. It didn’t leave much snow on the ground in DC, but it hit Philadelphia and NYC pretty hard. In fact, we had planned to drive on to Philly, but cancelled that leg of the trip and just enjoyed DC in the snow.

In Washington, Is it unusual to have snow in March? Of course, where we live in Canada, it is quite common to have snow.
